Olmeca has teamed up with the talented multi-instrumentalist and singer for Chicano Batman Bardo Martinez, to bring you “Relo,” an interpretation of Los Pasteles Verdes classic version first recorded in Lima, Peru 1974. “Relo” is a mesh of Olmeca’s introspective poetry about the beauty of remembering and holding close those experiences most valuable to you. Bardo Martinez lends his nostalgic voice along with guitar licks that are sure to take you to that era. The song is mixed and engineered by Eduardo Arena (Chicano Batman) who also adds soulful bass notes that bring a hip hop-recuerdo song to modern times.
“Relo” is produced by Olmeca and Drop-Beats and co-produced by Bardo Martinez and Eduardo Arenas. “Relo” will be available on “Brown Is Beautiful” album coming soon.
